Hershocks, Inc. was founded on the belief that fair prices, perseverance, pride in one's work and honest customer communication are the cornerstones of a successful business. Hershocks has been following this philosophy since 1935, when it started with seven employees. By 1940, the company had begun a steady growth under the direction of its president, Ralph Deaven. Mr. Deaven guided the company's progression to over 40 employees before his retirement in 1988. The traditions established by Mr. Deaven carry on today, as his family continues to operate the business into the next century.

Today, Hershocks is one of the largest specialty contractors in the state, employing 55 full time employees and over 50 more part time employees throughout the year. Our knowledgeable staff, most of whom have ten or more years of industry experience, offers customers professional advice on the correct materials for projects of all sizes.

Hershocks specializes in windows, doors, glass, hardware, entrances, automatic door devices, caulking, overhead doors and folding partitions for residential, commercial and industrial use. While most work is performed within central and eastern Pennsylvania, we have also completed projects in New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland.
